Frente a frente means face to face. It has certain similarities with the original version of Rueda llanta, with to big (grande) circles, and small (pequeña) pop-up circles. There are no fixed small/pequeña circles, but one couple from each of the to big/grande circles connect on certain figures, like amistad, toma electrica, etc. Default partner change is done in the big/grande circles.

The command paseito is used to have the couples travelling in between each other, turn around and switch big/grande circle.

For this to work, an even number of couples is needed. Be aware that if used in social rueda, because one more couple on the fly will destroy the structure. A Rueda combo with two circles is more friendly to add new couples on the run.
