A modifier is a general command that is not a specific figure, it is more a principle applied to other figures or commands. For example in the command “repíte” the dancers repeat the previous command. |
enchufla y sacala
Sacala is often called at the end of a figure, just before the figure finishes with dile que no.
If the caller wants to call sacala from guapea (basic step in open position), it is common to call enchufla y sacala, and the entire figure is done with the same partner, with dile que no after sacala.

… con una, dos
= … with one, two (claps)
This command is used to add clapping at the end of a rueda figure. It is commonly used after some of the basic commands with partner change, like dame and enchufla. When used after the command dame, it is common to actually skip the dame part, calling una con una, dos con dos in stead of dame una con una, dame dos con dos.
Even though it is possible to use it in combination with enchufla (enchufla con una), it is more common to use “pelota una” (or pelota dos, pelota tres), which is the same figure as enchufla con una (enchufla con dos, enchufla con tres).
Clapping in figures used in open position normally starts on beat 7, even though a few instructors teach clapping starting on 1. Clapping in al medio (after enchufla y al medio) normally starts on beat 1.

… dos

Some of the movements in the figures are sometimes danced twice, for example two claps. One possibility is then to do it once the first time, and then simply call “dos” (two), referring to the previous command.
