SalsaNor is the organization behind the rueda.casino videos.
Ever since the first international dance symposium in 2002 we have been working systematically with developing teaching methods and arenas to spread knowledge and enthusiasm about rueda de casino and other Cuban dances. In addition to our local dance schools, our main dance arena has been the annual international SalsaNor Rueda Congress, since 2002. We have produced several hundred educational videos of casino and rueda de casino since 2005.
The latest endeavour of SalsaNor is the establishment of vimeo.rueda.casino, a video channel created by SalsaNor and Felles Film in 2018, aiming to spread casino and rueda de casino through high quality videos and with a growing network of professional cuban dancers appearing in the videos, contributing with their knowledge.
Francesca Bardaro Productions is today our production partner. Italian Francesca Bardaro studied virtual scenography in the Netherlands, where she is currently living. She has specialized in video production of body movement and dance performances, and since 2016 she is a full-time videographer for dance events and performances, highly respected as a true artist with the camera. She has done several video assignments during SalsaNor events, like the SalsaNor Rueda Congress 2018 in Malaga. Starting in 2019, Francesca is our production partner in the vimeo.rueda.casino project, where she is responsible for the recording, editing and final presentation of the videos.
