RUEDA TRIO CALIENTE is a mix of RUEDA CON DOS MUJERES (Rueda with two women/followers) and RUEDA CON DOS HOMBRES (Rueda with two men/leaders) in the same circle! Every second triple is one leader + two followers and the others are two leaders + one follower.
The technique for the figures follow the technique from the RUEDA CON DOS MUJERES and RUEDA CON DOS HOMBRES.
Partner change
The leaders that are connected stick together, also in partner changes. Hence the partner change will never be to the next triple but to the one after that. The rest is more easily explained by visuals, for instance in this video fra Salsa by Norika (Slovkia) with Jaro Hluch:
