Felles Film aimed to use storytelling as a tool to create a better world. They helped everyone who worked to create social values and positive social effects, promoting and documenting their work through film production and various additional services.

Felles Film consisted of three employees and was owned and operated by Bjørnar Grønhaug. Bjørnar was educated as a documentary director at NISS in Oslo. He started Felles Film as a sole proprietor in 2012 and produced short films that won international awards, achieved viral spread with films made using hidden cameras, and screened a documentary on VGTV – the biggest online newspaper in Norway – with over 180,000 views. He also received grants from Innovation Norway, laying the foundation for Felles Film and the way the company operated until it was discontinued in 2019.
